Hi, I’m UB. I live in New York with my husband and our very cute dog. I wanted to create a little home of my own online—a place to share the books I read, along with the videos and playlists that fit them best. Think of it like stepping into my living room: please take off your shoes, curl up, enjoy the view, and get lost in a good book.
My life was shaped by a background in performing and entertainment. I no longer find myself at home on the stage, but I do find that I miss having a creative outlet. While I love the pivot my career has taken, I wanted a place where that imaginative side of me could live on. Hence, this site – a stage of its own, where stories, sound, and atmosphere come together.
Who knows who may find this page, but in truth it is built for me – for my thoughts, and my thoughts only. You may disagree with how I feel about a book, and that’s okay. What I hold above all else is deep gratitude for the authors – whether traditionally published, indie, or fanfic writers – who put themselves out there and allow their stories to be consumed by me. I am immensely in debt to them.
